Jude Osei Owusu

Jude Owusu was born in Kumasi, Ghana and moved to Dallas, Texas in 2012. Jude received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with First Class Honors from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.

After graduating, Jude worked in the Banking industry for a few years, first with Ghana Commercial Bank Limited as national service personnel, then Citibank N.A. and BBVA Compass bank respectively as an associate and personal banker.

Jude enrolled at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law where he served in various capacities such as member of the Board of Advocates, 2L class board member, Public Relations Officer for the African Law Students Association and Student Ambassador. He was eventually elected as the President for the Student Bar Association; overseeing more than 20 student organizations for the 2017/2018 academic year. He graduated Cum Laude in 2018 and serves on the Alumni board for the school.

Prior to starting as an Associate Attorney at Oxner Legha PPLC, Jude gained valuable experience as an Intern at Holmes, Diggs, and Sadler in Houston, as an Associate Attorney in the Civil Litigation department of a law firm in Cypress, as a Review Attorney at Winston and Strawn LLP.

Jude resides in Houston, Texas and enjoys playing the electronic keyboard, cooking and playing soccer recreationally and participating in community activities.
