Best Price

I was referred to this office through a friend for an immigration process. This has been the first time ever I have consulted a law firm. I was afraid of having costly charges but this was not the case. Best price! Finally, I successfully concluded the process. I highly recommend Joe and his entire... group of professionals.

Goes above and beyond - I wouldn't use anyone else!

I've been fortunate enough to use Joe's services for two O1's, setting up my LLC, and for my EB1 (Green Card) application, all of which he made extremely easy and as stress free as possible. He is always clear and honest about the process and procedures, and charges fairly for his work. Both O1's w...ent through quickly and easily, and the company set up was a breeze. After 5 years living and working in the US, I decided it was time to try to apply for a Green Card, which Joe once again made as simple as possible, and it was approved 4 days after the application was presented (I did pay for the USCIS premium service). Sadly while waiting for the actual GC to come through, my mother was taken extremely ill in the UK over the Christmas holidays, and I needed to return home. I emailed Joe at 9am the next morning morning, and he was straight on the phone to USCIS and my local Congressperson to seek assistance in getting me permission to travel, without jeopardizing my processing GC. It took a few days, but Joe was there every step of the way, and I was able to be at my mothers bedside a few days later. Amazingly, the Green Card came through a week later, which he Fedex'd to me immediately. I have many friends that have used other well known Immigration Attorneys within the LA Entertainment Industry, and every one of them has had issues, delays, surprise additional charges, and hiccups. I've recommended Joe to each of them, and those that have then gone on to hire him have had a much better experience than they had with the other more expensive lawyers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe, and couldn't be happier with his services.

Enter at your own risk.

To be fair to Joe Adams he got me my green card so it sounds odd my giving him a not so good review but here we are. I couldn't agree more with other reviewers, when things go wrong he just puts his head in the sand and does not answer calls etc plus he will lie to you. During the Green card process ...one gets a permit to work and travel before the official card arrives, these need to be applied for, both were applied for in January, they take aprox three Months to arrive and I had booked an expensive holiday for July (obviously more than enough time). I received the permit to work but never to travel, I asked Joe about it, he told me its fine. I then got the post saying mistakes were made and it needed re applying for, Joe informed me it was their mistake (USISS) and he would re apply. Months went by, I never received it, every few weeks I'd call or email him just to be fobbed off with the same answer "its been applied for", "I have confirmation its being processed" . Eventually after contacting him 8 times on the subject I called USCISS myself, it had not been applied for, Joe constantly told me it was being processed, he told me this on multiple occasions which was frankly complete rubbish. It turns out he was looking at the wrong application number, it was that of my employment card. There was no travel card, he either never bothered to check or he'd looked at the wrong application. Instead of admitting this he suddenly starts trying to see why the green card hadn't come and tries to divert the subject saying "I'm going to see if your actual green card has arrived", he clearly realized his error, as the date I was meant to go away approached he simply stopped answering calls which I understand is his forte. I couldn't leave the country and wasted $8000 on a trip. I called USCISS and they informed me that had it been done properly I would have had my travel authority 5 Months before I needed it. Joe Adams in my opinion simply has too many clients, its a numbers game and he wants numbers, he just has too much on his plate and forgets things, sometimes when you call he hasn't a clue what you are talking about! I appreciate that people make mistakes but this guy will NEVER admit them and that is one of the most ghastly traits in a man, he's a weak weak man who lies. To give credit where its due he got my card but it cost me $8000 more! I understand others haven't been so lucky and often its a mistake which he won't admit. Everybody makes mistakes in life but to turn your back on them in his line of work is grossly negligent, were he to have admitted his mistake I would have left it but obviously as is his nature he never does. Luckily I have his negligence and either lies or mistakes on email and the California Bar have asked me to send these as proof so I may proceed with either compensation (unlikely) or at least a black mark against his name. Its a shame, he seems like such a nice guy but beware, Joe Adams is a bad egg.

Incorrect advice, delays & vanished half way through the process, avoid!

I hired Joe to assist me with my visa application. He advised against filling out standard forms that are required for the correct filing. He did so in spite of being prompted several times about the specific documents that were missing in my application. By the time I realized the mistake they made,... I had already wasted several months. To top it off...when I presented them with the evidence and the mistake they made...no reply - they just vanished (with the full payment already made)! I had to eventually hire someone else to complete the process for me. And just for the sake of comparison, the following lawyer was terrific, much more communicative and cheaper. I would absolutely look elsewhere for immigration advice.
