don't waste your money

Talked a good game to get himself hired but did not meet expectations in any way. I never had a hard time getting ahold of him but I was always the one to contact him, he did not keep me informed as well as I would have preferred. He did not keep up with my case information. I did not hear from him f...or almost a month and when I did I was basically asked to repeat everything I had told him in the initial consultation and then treated it as if it was new information. After repeating info I had already clearly explained to him he told me I would not get as much of a settlement as he originally told me, this is after I had already signed an agreement to pay him 1/3 of my settlement of course. I felt as if my case did not really matter to him, but he gets paid for it to matter. He pushed me to take a small settlement just to close the case as fast as possible to make it more convenient for him. I feel like maybe I should have hired an older attorney with more experience. I would rather him have told me my case wasn't worth his time in the beginning rather than waste my time and money.

A great attorney to have representing you

Mr. Sandstrom Hill demonstrated a high level of professionalism while assisting me with a claim against a former employer. He took time to explain the legal processes and outcomes while listening to my questions and concerns. I feel that his knowledge, honesty, and responsiveness truly helped me achi...eve results. Any client of his would benefit from having his representation!

Relationship: Co-worker

"I worked in the same firm as Jonathan for over three years in Washington, D.C. Both I and my managing partner value Jonathan's professionalism and skill as a lawyer so much that, even after Jonathan moved to Texas, we have associated with him as co-counsel on more than one occasion. I cannot recommend Jonathan more highly."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
