Jonathan Ephrom Butler

Jonathan helped me with appeals to the unemployment insurance benefits claims. This process seems to be very partial towards the employer and favors more the agency / employer more than the claimant when the employer wishes to deny the benefits. Jonathan was quick to see the little procedural tricks ...they were using to favor the employer and these tricks were basically illegal. He was very thorough in his calling out of these errors during the appeals processes and making requests that would help favor me, his client more. We didn't win, but it wasn't because of Jonathan, it is because these courts are creating evidence out of thin air in order to deny my benefits. I commend Jonathan for being so thorough, watchful and persistent even when we kept getting knocked down. He was also great to work with, always getting my feedback before submitting any documents. One thing he could improve on is arguing more of the errors in the appeals, even if they seem insignificant. I don't think this would have changed things in my case; I just think it is something that he will improve on as he handles more appeals. I definitely recommend Jonathan for any litigation you may need!
