Biography
Mr. Baker has experience in a wide array of legal matters, including Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense, Construction, Labor and Employment, Oil and Gas, Toxic Tort, Corporate Law, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
He has represented a broad spectrum of clients – from individuals to national businesses.
Mr. Baker graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1998. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and Covington Bar Association.
He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the Louisiana Supreme Court, U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. Jonas has lectured on employment issues and taught a course on Hospitality Law at Delgado University.
Jonas currently resides in Covington, Louisiana with his wife and two daughters.
