John B. St. Francis

After reading other reviews all I can say is that my experience is completely different. I can only imagine that there are people who will never be satisfied. As far as fees go attorney St. Francis's hourly rate was actually reasonable compared to other attorneys I consulted with. There has been ma...ny times where I was told things that I didn't agree with but that's his job. My ex lost his case because of the actions he took, I wonder if he blames his attorney for his actions. As far as contact with the office, I've called numerous times and either spoke directly with someone from the office or my call was returned within a day. He was a bulldog in court and fought for me through the whole process. One thing I learned is if I didn't hear from attorney St. Francis it was because he had nothing new to report, no news is good news. John has represented me in three matters in the last 10 years so I have gotten to know him and to others who read these reviews I would tell you to take what you see in other reviews with a grain of salt. I would recommend attorney St. Francis to my closest friends and family because he is the most honest, ethical and straightforward attorney I've met. Hopefully I won't need legal help again but if I do I know exactly who I am calling.

I paid him a lot of money. Him and the office or the paralegal never ever returned my phone calls, he never ever emails me back. He did a opposite of what I asked him to in my family court. He is not professional at what he does. He had plenty of to file the paperwork with court but he waited till la...st minute and all other paper of my request were denied by family court. After week on my family case, I asked him to withdraw from my case, he never even gave me half of my money back. All he think about is his pocket and the my case. Never will hire him again or I will never recommend him to anyone. His very rude and unprofessional.

Expensive attorney that doesn't do well for your best interest. Basically paid to stay out of jail. Didn't show I was innocent, instead warned me on a judge that would side with the state. Set me up with a bogus plea deal for a crime I didn't even commit in 2017. Now I have a felony on my record for ...life. Don't bother. I should have found better.

I hired John B francis for "family court". he went up against a "real estate attorney" and failed me on every level. He basically lost my case, did not return my phone calls, but rather would "text" me at 9 pm at night, and failed me at every level. Very expensive, with zero outcome in my favor. ...I would have been much better representing myself since "family court" in Vermont is not even real, but a joke.
