the court has discretion - for example a credit card balance of 5k at the time of filing would be divided on that date and not after that date...

If you want to drop the charges you have to complete an affidavit that you do not want to prosecute. Then contact the state attorney on the case.

yes you can always re-apply. Many true victims of violence will dismiss an injunction once or even twice before they gain the courage to leave.

If you feel you need a restraining Order then get one asap. You should not tolerate abuse, nor will the court. Get a lawyer too.

If you are using drugs then yes DCF will take the kid. you need to meet with them to work out a case plan, and get a lawyer.

Kids never get to decide so if the order says he has to go then he has to go. You need a lot more evidence to change the existing order
