If they have not taken action at this point then likely they will not, If they do you should retain a lawyer.

If there is no activity for a prolonged period of time then the court will eventually dismiss the case. No motions get heard until they are set...

If he is threatening you then get a restraining order, it is free but you have to make your way to the courthouse.
