John Kwaw Kwarm

After three months of non-responsiveness I attempted to fire Mr. Kwarm. He persuaded me to stay by promising contingency representation — confirmed in writing from his official firm email. Despite this, he continued billing me, charging nearly $5,000 in fees on top of a $500 consultation fee. He then... abandoned my active case mid-litigation without any formal notice or transition plan, leaving while a $5,000 settlement offer from the opposing party was on the table. I received no settlement, no refund, and no explanation. He has since denied the written contingency agreement to the Utah State Bar and the Utah Office of Professional Conduct. Active OPC complaints are now on file against him. I would not recommend him under any circumstances.
