John David Ferrell

Hired Mr. Ferrell in March 2014 for my sons divorce. I was very impressed during the initial consultation and decided to hire him. Things rapidly declined from there. Trying to get a question answered was close to impossible, he was unresponsive, dragged his feet on important issues and even lost ...or misplaced a spousal support payment that resulted in a 3 week delay with a court ordered payment. On his good days he was very informative and helpful. Needless to say most of his days were not good ones.

When I first contacted John, I beleived he was going to handle my divorce in a prompt matter. I had confidence that he could handle the paperwork needed to handle a very easy uncontested divorce case. We were already on agreeing terms in regards to everything. He was quick to meet with me and accept ...payment in full. However, as soon as the money reached his hands he has been impossible to work with. He doesn't answer phone calls or emails. His communication skills are that of a minor child. If his work load is too full that he can not answer his clients questions, he should reconsider his work load or hire someone to handle his calls/emails. Sadly, it has been well over the 90 wait period and a simple process is still not complete. I would recommend anyone else who has had issues with John please contact the Washington Bar Association.

I hired John Ferrell through "Divorce Lawyers for Men" for my sons divorce. The last we heard from him was an e-mail with the standard divorce forms saying he was ready to file. Then nothing, after numerous calls, e-mails, and stopping by his office, no word from him for weeks now. Even the organi...zation we hired him through (Divorce Lawyers for men.) haven't heard from him. I would not do any business with this lawyer. I am questioning the organization that recommended him also. It's been 4 days since I have alerted them to this, and they have no clue as to what is going on.
