To my knowledge, in order to be a student, you have to be in school. Maybe your school never cancelled your I-20.

You are allowed to go to school and you are allowed to work. I know of no rule prohibiting this.

You are required to file the paperwork under your official, legal name. If you didn't do that, you will need to correct the application.
