We successfully defended a local business owner and his business against a million-dollar negligence claim. I was second chair co-counsel during this civil defense jury trial. The Plaintiff sued our cl ... ient's business and our client personally, alleging that he was seriously injured after being knocked over by bouncers during a muscial event hosted by the Defendant. Plaintiff initially claimed $1,000,000 in damages. I drafted a successful motion relieving the Defendant from any personal liability as a defendant in this case. After a two-week trial, the jury returned a verdict completely in our favor, awarding nothing to the Plaintiff.
