Jenny Bain handled my divorce over a course of two years. It was a very stressful time as I had to file restraining orders against the opposing party and hire experts for many appraisals. Unfortunately the opposing party made everything as difficult as possible. Jenny handled my divorce professionall...y and with real compassion knowing what I was up against. She explained the legal system to me in ways I could understand so I was able to make informed decisions, which was important to me not understanding our legal system. Jenny represented me during my child custody dispute that lasted 4 years and eventually went to trial. There was also a 3111 evaluation involved which raised the stakes significantly and I'm a father fighting to keep 50/50 custody of my special needs daughter. One of the key factors in our success... was the fact that Jenny cared about my case and was astute at reading the judge on our court appearances. I was impressed at how well she read the situation before it became apparent to me particularly during trial. In my case we were fighting to retain the status quo of 50/50 custody in face of an antagonistic opposing party (my child's mother) and a 3111 evaluator who decided to favor the mother and wrote a hugely biased evaluation, which was a daunting prospect at trial. Jenny was able to methodically pick holes in the evaluator's report, exposing it for the sham that it was. She also was thoughtful in framing the issue as a breakdown in communication/dysfunctional relationship between my child's mother and myself. This was both accurate and insightful and once the 3111 evaluation was shown to be biased, and evidence was brought forward to show that my child was thriving under the incumbent 50/50 sharing plan, the only conclusion left was to keep the status quo in terms of custodial arrangement and instead send both parents to co-parenting counseling. I personally couldn't recommend her more, obviously she facilitated a great result for me and ultimately my child, so I have no complaints there. I felt that her genuine belief in my case was key to creating a good outcome, and I'm grateful for her hard work.
