Jennifer Lynn Thompson

Jennifer Delbert received her law degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia (Mizzou) School of Law, in conjunction with her undergraduate degree from Mizzou (B.A. in English, emphasis in honors, and a minor in Political Science), all in May 2004.  In May of 2013, Jennifer obtained her Masters in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.  Jennifer is licensed to practice in all state courts in Missouri and Illinois, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court.

Jennifer began her practice in a small general civil practice law firm in Mexico, Missouri for two and a half years, practicing primarily in family law and personal injury matters.  Jennifer then returned to her roots, moving her practice to a small, general civil practice law firm in St. Louis.  Since then, Jennifer has practiced primarily in the areas of estate planning and probate matters, business litigation and entity set-up, including counseling business owners, and corporate and personal tax matters, including tax planning and tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service. 

Jennifer is a native of the St. Louis area, and she has developed strong community ties through the Board of Advisors of the Carondelet YMCA, the Missouri YMCA Youth In Government Program, the Zonta Club of St. Louis, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
