Ms. Sommerfeld helped me navigate through a very difficult child custody case. She was very knowledgable and did additional research due to some complicated issues with the case. I found her to be honest and hard working. She was very timely and responsive to my questions and concerns. She kept me in...formed on progress of the case and how she planned to address the issues. She was very receptive to my input on the case and my desires for handling the issues. She made recommendations on how to proceed and always made it clear that the decision for how to deal with issues were always mine. She did however always provide explanations for the pros and cons of the different decisions that were on the table. I always found her information and guidance to be very helpful and prudent. I also felt that she always dealt with my case in a fiscally responsible manner. I would and have recommended her to anyone needing an attorney for a family law matter. Throughout the case, I always felt that Ms. Sommerfeld was more that an attorney and had a genuine concern for a positive resolution to my case.
