Being a bay area transplant and unfamiliar with the court systems/ Judges in San Joaquin County but residing here. I highly recommend Jennifer Farris, and I'd also recommend her for Alameda County too. It was 2012 when I was caught by surprise that my husband served me papers. I was an emotional wr...eck. She is active within Stockton Courts, knows the culture in the Family Law courts and is a local. She is well informed and can give you a guideline of your options or what to expect. My husband and I have come to an agreement to dissolve our case (we ended up not divorcing). If I were to run into a divorce situation, I don’t feel helpless and I am confident that Ms. Farris can take my case and successfully strategize the best outcome for me. She is well versed in Family Law and gave excellent advice/ options during the divorce procedure, which is the most difficult time. Her retainer fee is fair and reasonable; well worth it and she charges you honestly (no hidden fees).
