State filed possession of marijuana < 2 oz. charge against my client, a class B misdemeanor. I was able to negotiate a class C misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia deferred adjudication for my ... client, on which were then able to immediately have the court order "nondisclosure (sealing)" of the records after completion of the six months deferral period. We can also now petition for expunction (destruction) of the records once two years have passed since the date of the offense.
