Jeff is a Greenville, South Carolina native and practices in Grimes Teich Anderson LLP's South Carolina Offices. He received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina where he was also a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.
He attended law school at Campbell University, Norman A. Wiggins School of Law School in Raleigh, North Carolina from which he received his J.D. While at Campbell, Jeff was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, participated in the Kilpatrick-Stockton Mock Trial Competition, and participated in Campbell's Moot Court Competition. Following law school, Jeff practiced law in Georgetown and Horry Counties before joining Grimes Teich Anderson LLP in January 2013.
Jeff's practice is focused on Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, and Automobile Accidents. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Greenville County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division, the South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ), The South Carolina Workers' Compensation Educational Association (SCWCEA), The Injured Workers' Advocates (IWA), and Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG). Jeff previously served on the Executive Committee of the IWA.
Jeff is included on the 2021 South Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Stars® list for Workers’ Compensation Law. Super Lawyers is an annual rating of outstanding lawyers from across the nation. Peer nominations and evaluations, along with 3-party independent research, are used in the selection process. To be eligible for Rising Stars, an attorney must be 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of attorneys are selected for Rising Stars. Jeff and his wife, Kathryn, both practice law in the Upstate and live in Greenville with their daughter and son. They are members of St. Paul's Anglican Church in downtown Greenville. Jeff served as board member for the Barbara Stone Foundation from 2014 to 2018, including a term as Vice President.
