I am a trial lawyer and mediator with 18 years of experience in all aspects of business and family law litigation, including discovery, pre‐trial, trial, and appellate work, as well as mediation and arbitration.

I currently practice in the areas of business litigation, ADA and FHA defense, employment law, family law, and I represent Texas lawyers before the Grievance committee of the State Bar of Texas.

My Litigation experience includes 7 years as a Business Litigator at a large regional Firm and my current Civil Litigation work at Hunt Huey PLLC, including:

-defense of libel and slander claims in State Court
-defense of lawyers in Texas in response to grievances before the State Bar
-defense of claims under the American with Disabilities Act and Fair Housing Act in Federal Court
-defense of forged endorsement and similar UCC claims against national bank clients
-defense of claims for employment discrimination, breach of contract and fraud against a major independent oil company
-defense of securities fraud claims and NYSE customer complaints in State and Federal Court and before NASD and NYSE arbitration panels

My Family Law experience from more than a decade in Family Law includes:
-representing petitioners and respondents in suits for divorce, including child custody, child and spousal support, enforcement matters, complex property division, and custody of children with special needs
-preparing expert witnesses for litigation involving complex financial or psychological issues
-representing parents, step-parents, grandparents, and nonparent conservators in contested and uncontested terminations and adoptions
-obtaining adult name and gender ID changes for clients across Texas in State Court
