Javier M Vazquez

Javier M. Vazquez, Esq., was born in Miami, Florida from Cuban parents, who escaped the Castro regime.  He was raised in Miami, Florida by his mother and his grandparents.  Although his family had limited means, Javier’s parents sacrificed so that he could attend private catholic educational institutions.  As a result, he graduated from Miami Christopher Columbus High School, on the Dean’s List.  Mr. Vazquez then graduated from Florida International University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice and English.  Javier then attended and graduated Cum Laude from Barry University School of Law where he was a two year Law Review member and was the author of an article in the school’s Law Review publication.  After graduation Javier returned home to Miami, Florida where he began work with a local real estate and transactional law firm.

Two years later, Javier moved back to Orlando where he continued to practice in the areas of real estate and transactional law.  In 2005 Javier then moved westward to Tampa, Florida, joining a local personal injury firm.  Javier expanded his practice areas to include: Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Insurance Claims, Workers Compensation and Sinkhole Claims.  In 2009 Mr. Vazquez opened his own law practice focusing equally on personal injury, general civil litigation and transactional law. After 3 successful years, Javier merged his practice with a large Tampa personal injury law firm where he served as their Managing Attorney for 6 years.  In 2017 Mr. Vazquez joined the personal injury law firm of Lorenzo & Lorenzo, P.A., as Director of their litigation department. 

Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Vazquez has been involved in multi-million dollar real estate and business transactions and has also been involved with several million dollar personal injury recoveries. Javier has appeared on several television shows and different news outlets both in English and Spanish.  Mr. Vazquez has also appeared in several different mediums to educate the public in a wide array of legal issues and has been the keynote speaker for several seminars. Javier is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
