Jason Phillip Sosa

Jason Sosa was born in Del Rio, Texas and was subsequently raised in many different cities and countries around the globe.  His father served the United States Air Force as a fighter pilot, and as a result, Mr. Sosa has been able to learn about various cultures and ethnic backgrounds. From a young age, Mr. Sosa was taught by his parents that through hard work and determination, anything is possible - a principle he has applied throughout his life, in school, in athletics, and in the courtroom. 

Mr. Sosa's hard work paid off as he attended Texas A&M University as a Varsity Cross Country and Track & Field athlete.  Understanding the value of education, Mr. Sosa stayed at Texas A&M University after graduating with a Business Degree from the Mays School of Business to earn a Masters and PhD in Sport Management. He realized that although he loved teaching at Rice University, he needed more. As a result, Mr. Sosa was accepted to Thurgood Mashall School of Law, where he excelled in mock trial and academics graduating with honors.  Mr. Sosa also served as the President of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity.  

Furthermore, while in law school, he worked in the Legal Clinic taking on Pro Bono cases for those citizens who could not afford to pay for legal assistance. Mr. Sosa had an impressive record within the clinic, returning many positive outcomes for his clients. In his last year of law school, Mr. Sosa worked for the Harris County Public Defender's Office assisting attorneys on difficult cases.  It was here that Mr. Sosa learned first hand how to become a good trial attorney and an advocate for his clients.  Mr. Sosa is a firm believer in the United States Constitution and individual rights for all within the United States.
