I had originally consulted with Ms. McKamey regarding a child support case. She was kind, compassionate, and very thorough in her explanation of her fees. We came to an agreement, but do to unforeseeable events, I hired her to represent me in a child custody case. She has been just as thorough, just ...as compassionate, just as kind and she has been EXTREMELY diligent in ensuring my case was taken care of. Through no fault of her own, my cased was delayed and she has stayed on top of it, contacting the courts as necessary and keeping me in the loop with email correspondence, phone calls, and text messages. She understands the level of stress these kinds of situations can bring and is always happy to provide that personal tough to help put my mind at ease. She is a tough cookie, will stand up for her clients in and out of court, and is a wonderful example of an attorney and human being. I have given her information to several friends and acquaintances and she has done wonderful things for them as well so she is definitely worth the time and money. She is also very reasonable with the fees she charges. When I hired her I was a single mom and she was sensitive to that. We worked out her fees that made it doable for both my budget and her work. As it is, I have already paid her full fee and she is STILL working hard on my case. I admire and respect her as a person and attorney. If you need someone that is real, honest, and doesn't blow smoke, then she is your best bet!
