Janet Katherine Meub

JANET K. MEUB is a senior associate in the Pittsburgh office of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. She is a member of the Medical Malpractice Defense, Health Care, Construction Practice Consortium, Professional Liability, Employment and Labor,  and Litigation Practice Groups.

Ms. Meub has extensive trial experience defending medical, psychiatric, legal and chiropractic malpractice claims in Ohio and Pennsylvania in both state and federal courts. Ms. Meub's jury trial experience includes recent defense verdicts for an electrophysiologist in Allegheny County, a hospital in Somerset County, and a hospital in Beaver County. Additionally, she has represented nursing homes, hospitals, licensed professional counselors, and physician practice groups.

Ms. Meub has also represented general contractors and subcontractors in the context of negligence and premises liability actions in Western Pennsylvania. Ms. Meub recently obtained a defense verdict in a summary appeal trial in Westmoreland County. She has also represented companies in the defense of environmental and toxic tort claims in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. 

During law school, Ms. Meub served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Peter C. Economus, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio and as a law clerk in the Office of General Counsel for Youngtown State University.

Ms. Meub serves on the Attorneys Against Hunger Committee of the Allegheny Bar Foundation. She is also a volunteer for the Neighborhood Legal Services Pro Bono Expungement Project and sits on the Traffic Board for Mt. Lebanon Borough.
