I was harassed continuously by a debt collector. My family as well along with my employer. It was extremely embarrassing to have my personal business brought to my boss' attention as well as my disabled brother. I just happen to mention all to Mr. Wertheim. I seriously did not think I had a case but ...he won it and I am so grateful.

We received a court summons for an outstanding credit card debt. We assumed we would receive one at some point, but were still shaken by it. The vulnerable feeling you get when you see your name listed in a complaint for the first time is unavoidable. After asking a few friends for advice we ended up... on Avvo. Hopefully I won't need him again, but if needed, would do so without hesitation.

I posted a bankruptcy question. About a company Midland Funding still taking money out of my check after filing for bankruptcy. Well got several replies but James told me to call him that he could help me. Well he did sent Jim some more information. He contacted them and got the matter taken care of ...in less than a week. He really cares about the little guy. He is truly is a asset to the legal profession.
