James Edward McDaniel

Unfortunately my awesome attorney unexpectedly passed. James took over my case, and from day one I was not happy. He was very unkept looking, wearing sandals with very long hairs on the back of his neck. From the get go he talked down to me in a very condescending tone. i had already paid my pre...vious attorney to complete my case, but McDaniel said he needed to be compensated for his time. He made two continuance appearances on behalf of me. He requested 750$. I told him to request attorney fees from the defendant and I will split what ever we get 50/50. We were given 5400$, so instead of his 750 he ended up with 2600. Since then i have heard multiple stories on where that money went. 6 months later he has still not written the letter he was paid to write. All that needs to be done is a letter and I will be paid, and this case wl be wrapped up. The office he was working in closed down, and he doesn't respond to texts or calls. I don't know if he is practicing law anymore. This is to say the least absolutely frustrating. I sent him a text message (after weeks of no response) demanding the letter be written. He replied he will send me the files and no longer complete my case he was paid to complete. I am crossing my fingers he sends me the correspondence files so I can figure out what to do....
