James Q. Greaves

James Q. Greaves is an experienced family law attorney and litigator. His experience includes managing a diverse caseload in family law, including divorce mediation and litigation, custody issues, spousal support, division of property, domestic violence, and restraining orders.  Mr. Greaves has extensive litigation experience before the courts of Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties.  While his focus is Family law, Mr. Greaves also has experience in Business, Criminal, and Entertainment law.   

Mr. Greaves obtained his J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2010.  While at Southwestern he served as student orientation leader for the General Relief Advocacy Program, participated in Moot Court competitions, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future award in several classes.  In 2009, he completed a program in International Entertainment and Sports Law at The University of London. 

Mr. Greaves graduated from the University of San Diego in 2007 cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communication Studies.  His undergraduate education includes studying Theatrical Production at the University of London, and Independent Film Production at the Sundance Film Festival.
