When my ex-husband filed for an adjustment to child support recently- I was assured by the law firm that the best approach was to change to a modification so we could dive into his finances, as well as his new wife. I was also told it would be around $4K. Over the next few months, that 4K doubled.... Being a single mom, I started to get concerned. It was recommended that I use the associate lawyer, Isabella Foxen. HUGE mistake. First off, I was told they would be using his new wife’s income in the household income. During court, it wasn’t even used. I was charged for her income exploration however. I was also told we would we were claiming he was underemployed. That also didn’t come up in court. Everything I’d been told we were fighting for, wasn’t even addressed. Isabella was nervous and jittery during the hearing. She was steam-rolled. She forgot to include the form showing that my employer pays for my healthcare in full and that my ex should be paying his portion of our kids monthly medical insurance. Because she forgot that document, the judge decided I needed to pay the full monthly. She was inexperienced and just horrible. My last hearing was 8 months ago and I’m still shaken up as I write this post. My bill ended up being almost $13K after I was told to expect around $4K (I understand that was an estimate but to have it triple was shocking). I was given $1500 back after the hearing. Now I’m left paying majority of the costs for my children, even though my ex-husband and new wife have a much higher household income. The whole experience was awful. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Isabella helped me in a custody case, very last minute, as her and I only spoke a day before my hearing. I’ve had attorneys prepare for weeks at a time, and came to court unprepared and unprofessional. Isabella absolutely surprised me by her intelligence, her composure and her professionalism. She is... a young attorney with integrity and so much potential to do great things. Isabella took time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood and all my questions have been answered. If you are looking for an attorney who 100% has your back in court and presents very well and is very articulate, then hire Isabella and you won’t be disappointed. I wish I found Isabella sooner!

Paid Ms. Foxen for representation in a custody case. She embarrassed me by showing up to court late and unprepared, having no idea what was going on in my case… This is extremely unprofessional. I was under the impression that I was paying for quality representation…instead I received a mediocre att...orney. Do not recommend
