Hugo Cornelius Johnson IV

I would like to start by saying that I do not leave reviews. Like eeever. You can't even PAY me! HA! I am just too busy typically and reviewing stuff isn't something that registers in my head! BUT this business has earned a HUGE exception to my normal "policy" haha! I had a consultation with Atto...rney Hugo Johnson yesterday, and now I feel like singing praises from the rooftops for Mr. Johnson AND Dellino Law Group! Backstory: I am dealing with a very complicated and hostile multi-state divorce and custody battle (to the death...or feels like it anyway) that has been dragged on by my ex-spouse for SEVEN years! (I keep trying to shake him off to no avail...take a hint, dude. eyeroll) I am no Attorney, and trying to navigate the Court system as a pro se litigant from all the way across the County has been...well, an impossible and disheartening task, really. And to be honest, I had all but lost hope after speaking with a handful of other less than scrupulous Attorneys in the area who were flat out rude and disrespectful to me (one even laughed at me!), while simultaneously asking me to immediately give them $20,000. Ummm no thanks! How about this single finger wave buh-bye as a consolation prize, though? Dellino Law Group however, is STELLAR! Hugo Johnson is extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous, unlike every other Attorney I have EVER spoken to. Such a breath of fresh air! I had a full hour with Mr. Johnson and he listened intently and asked appropriate questions to make sense of my case expeditiously. He then started by offering the quickest and most cost-effective solutions for me without my even asking! WHAT?! Hugo also gave the most sound legal advice I have had from anyone, and this was without his even being on retainer yet! This is unheard of, and such a better way to do business than the typical Law Firm that only seems to exist to bleed clients dry for as much as they can without offering much of anything useful in return. Dellino Law Group IS "The Team Who Cares", just as they advertise, (I see what they did there. Sneaky nice Attorneys! The nerve! HA!) and I 100% trust placing my delicate and high stakes battle for the most important thing in my life...the custody of my babies...in Hugo Johnson's more than capable hands. Hugo (let's just call him Superman, mmkay?) has given me hope, so much that I actually SLEPT last night for the first time in months, and most importantly, I no longer feel alone with this scary, awful battle in front of me.

Hugo and Delliani Law Group successful helped me resolve my high conflict custody case in mediation, something I never would have thought possible. Before bringing my case to Delliani Law Group my ex-husband and I had been long entangled in the court system with no resolve. After only a few short days he knew even the most intricate details of the case and I immediately knew I was in good hands. Hugo not only provided amazing legal counsel he was my confidant, helping me navigate through extremely stressful situations that involved the welfare of my son. The legal and emotional support I received was invaluable. Hugo was lead counsel on the case but Michelle and Anika also assisted with the case. I was so fortunate to have them all on my team. and often told people I had my own dream team.

I am so grateful we found Hugo Johnson. At the recommendation of a friend, we reached out to Dellino Law Group and were put in touch with Hugo. My partner and I have worked with him over the past several years; Hugo has always been very professional, highly knowledgeable and remarkably capable. H...e has done an amazing job helping us navigate through a very challenging custody case with ongoing issues. He has been both proficient and precise in dealing with a difficult and contentious opposing party. One of the things that I admire the most about Hugo is that he does not always tell you what you want to hear, rather he is honest and upfront, and he tells you how things really are. And he does this with patience, kindness and the utmost professionalism. We cannot recommend him enough!

I worked with Hugo for my legal separation case. I mentioned to him that I didn't want to attack my spouse and he was sensitive toward that and gave good advice on how to proceed. He acted quickly to get me and my son the protection he needed, gave me honest feedback about the case, explained things ...at length to clarify questions, responded quickly to questions/concerns, and always had a great attitude. I'd recommend him to anyone. There was only one breakdown in communication; I had asked him to take a break from working on my case and he didn't. Before I found out, he had put several more hours into the case that I couldn't afford at that time so I (sadly) had to end my contract with him. They were very helpful and lenient with me in getting that all ended and cleaned up and he met with me one last time and went over the next steps of my case which was helpful and appreciated.
