Howard Burton Garey

I attended one of Howard's seminars and paid him the amount he had stipulated for creating my living trust. At the seminar, Howard said he would begin the process of creating the living trust as soon as I started sending him my deed of trust etc. This was Aug 2016. Since then, it has been hard to get... hold of him via email and many of my recent emails have not been acknowledged / answered. In April 2017 I sent him an email asking for a refund since no work was done - no response. I just sent him another request in June 2017 and am still waiting for a response. I am stuck now having paid him for creating my living trust - I haven't seen even one word inked by him towards my trust!!

My sister's and my Living Trusts were set up by Mr. Garey in 2011. I still do not have time to read the contents of the trusts, but, recently, I detected simple mistake that Mr. Garey made, and this mistake caused me to question Mr. Garey's professional work. In setting up the transfer of our real ...estate properties into our trusts, Mr. Garey failed to include the dates or our trusts when the date of the trust is extremely crucial in the identity of the trust.

Garey made up a Living Trust for me & my husband. Upon paying for and reading the many documents, I noticed many typos, mispellings, misnumbering of documents (our two wills lumped together as one document!), blatant misnumbering of paragraphs, and so many problems that I have had to virtually retype... all the documents. (I was a paralegal, and proofreader.) In the main document, My husband and I had different percentages for beneficiaries, but that was ignored. We wanted a small trust set up for our animals, and that was not included. Boilerplate document was not meant for us, and no one reviewed before passing it on to us .
