Herbert John Adlerberg

I was 20 years old at the time, when this "SO CALLED" Lawyer convince me to plead guilty to a crime I did not commit As a result I was sentenced to a year at Rikers Island. My then employer was aware of my issue with the court, and committed to keeping me hired, and said if all turned out well and i...n my favor at sentencing, Burlington Industries would send me to college, and would advocate any up the corporate ladder assistance they could provide on my behalf. I shared this with Mr. Adlerberg, and was told that I probably receive probation vs incarceration. This was the reason I agreed to plead guilty, and to end the back and forth appearances to court which was causing great hardship for my mother. I was never made aware of the horrific consequences I would forever have to endure as a result of the this plea, ie a class E felony which of course has plagued me now all of my life since. Mr Adlerberg never once advised me or my family of the life's troubles I would have to face enlight of my decision to plead guilty. Had we been advised of this, we never would have agreed. I believe Mr. Adlerberg was involved with my case purely for his fee, and did not have my best interest in mind. As a result I have suffered all of my adult life. Too much to share at this time.
