You can file for an ex-parte attachment. You can file a motion to halt the defendant from transferring any personal or real property .

My landlord is targeting all of us instead of specifically the roommate who signed the same lease and hasn't paid.

The rent is due as a total. If the total is not paid, the landlord can seek to evict all of you.
