Getting divorced is difficult. There's all the confusing legal stuff to navigate and then there's the emotional pains to deal with. I thought I could do my own amicable divorce without an attorney. During Mediation, I was able to continue working with Helene as my coach. She coached me on the process, the steps to take and the strategy to follow. She taught me to have a "soulful" divorce. She provided me with a roadmap to success and mapped out the steps I needed to take. She helped me understand where to hold my ground and where to compromise in order to achieve a peaceful settlement. In the end, she really opened my eyes to a new way of settling the divorce without needing to go to trial. She really "thinks outside the box" and opened my eyes to ideas that I had not thought of or knew existed. She is passionate about what she does and I would recommend her to anyone going through divorce. It's a long and complicated process and I found the legal system does not make it easy on the lay person who tries to do this without legal help.
