I couldn't be happier with the results that Heather has provided. We truly have been a team, and she has guided me through a very difficult and lengthy divorce. From the beginning Heather explained how each piece of the divorce could proceed and the best way to get through it. She is very diligent an...d knows NC law. She has been professional and very caring to me and most importantly to the needs of my children. I would highly recommend Heather if you want an ethical lawyer.

I would not recommend this attorney. I retained her in November 2014 and by January 8th she had not drawn up a separation agreement or sent my husband a letter stating the demands I requested. She kept withdrawing from my retainer I had given her to represent me. I sent an email after the first of th...e year inquiring what is taking so long. I showed the email to several professional people and they were shocked. They advised me that this attorney is not on your side. I terminated counsel with her on January 15 and she responded on January 22 stating that I can pick up my documents but not the remaining balance of my retainer. She stated that they have to keep my money until the end of the month to calculate the charges. She sent me an itemized statement stating that she spent three hours reviewing and going over my documents on January 12th. She knew I was terminating her as my attorney so she put something down on my statement to say she did this regarding my case. I obtained a different attorney on January 30th and he sent a letter to my husband that day.

Unfortunately I have used Heather on several matters. She has always looked after my best interest even though I disagreed with her a time or two. I was later proved to be wrong, and no, I'm not ashamed to admit it, she was right. If I had not listened and let her do her job, it would have cost me ...double my fee. She is the professional, not me, lesson learned. I would trust Heather over any other attorney I have heard of and friends referrals. ANYONE that would give her a bad review simply would not listen to the expert. Let her do her job.
