Biography
I became a lawyer to help others and serve my community, and that remains my guiding principle more than 18 years later. People make mistakes and we all deserve a second chance to change our direction in life if needed. There may not be an excuse for where our behavior has taken us, but perhaps there is an explanation and a way back?
I fight for the underdog and individuals without a voice. I use my voice to help them get their DWI charges dismissed or file a lawsuit to recover for injuries the insurance refuses to pay in a car wreck case. The fight to help others has been equally important when I stand in front of judges and juries alike as a personal injury trial lawyer; and as a criminal defense attorney.
Defending the constitutional rights of those accused of criminal violations is difficult and demanding work, but also rewarding. I have seen first-hand how the criminal justice system works against the accused from the very beginning. I work each day to obtain the evidence the government has against my clients. I fight to protect their rights and demand the government show sufficient proof against my clients. If the evidence is not there I ask for the case to be dismissed.
I have often faced the government attorneys at hearings and jury trials in many criminal courtrooms in the City of Houston and nearby smaller cities, Harris County and counties in the greater surrounding area. I am currently taking new clients with DWI, drugs, misdemeanors and felony cases in Harris County and Fort Bend County. Please contact me if I can help you with your criminal matter.
