Goktug Can Burul

Goktug is a partner at Burul Karan Atakan Attorneys at Law, mainly focusing on antitrust, corporate law, contracts, real estate law and dispute resolution matters. He is admitted to New York State Bar as well as Istanbul Bar. He has completed two LL.M. degrees, one in International Business and Economic Law at Georgetown University Law Center and the second in Economic Law at Istanbul Bilgi University. Currently, he continues his Ph.D. studies in private law at Istanbul Commerce University.

Goktug has an extensive experience in dispute resolution, mainly in complex legal matters related to commercial and real estate law and has been involved in many projects including construction, excavation, transportation, and agriculture. He also provides legal advice and consultancy services in his area of expertise to his clients which include Turkey’s largest plastic building material manufacturer, leading companies in organic farming, salt production, industrial products, chemical products, and construction as well as high net worth individuals.

Goktug is also a mediator and has represented Istanbul Bar in Contract Negotiation Competition which was hold by European Bars Association.
