Glenn A. Weiss

Glenn Weiss is the founder and principal of Etudes Juridiques in the Principality of Monaco.  He is a member of the New York State Bar and has been granted authorization by Monaco to provide services as a Conseiller Juridique (Legal Advisor).

He operates as an independent legal consultant specializing in the maritime and commercial law and focuses primarily on yachting, cruise lines and general shipping matters.  He has over 25 years experience counseling in passenger shipping and commercial matters.

He also has a broad range of experience in international business transactions and commercial and corporate law.  He has represented clients in various business transactions, including joint ventures, stock and asset acquisitions, commercial loans, real estate acquisitions and leases, and organized corporations and other business entities in various jurisdictions.

In the maritime and admiralty areas, his clients include cruise lines, shipping companies, onboard concessionaires, catering companies, manning agencies, marine insurers, private yacht owners, yacht brokers, and yacht managers.   Other clients have included public and private companies and individuals, including private investment funds, companies involved in the auction, retail, medical, manufacturing, hospitality, automotive and food and beverage industries, as well as professional athletes and sports federations, promoters and agents.

Through his network of contacts, including leading firms in Europe and United States, he is able to collaborate and provide counsel to his clients on a worldwide basis.

He is also an Adjunct Professor of international business law at the International University of Monaco, teaching in the MBA, MIGBA and Executive MBA programs, and lectured on international business law at Lectures Moscow.
