My spouse faced felony charges. As the law was written, he had done the actual crime but was not aware it was a crime (at the time). Let alone a felony offense. BELIEVE that saying, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." / Atty. Cobb listened to all of our concerns. (He's not going to waste your ...money by babying you & holding your hand & then charging you for it.) He's down to earth, knowledgeble & shared that information w/ us in a direct manner. And he can professionally handle it when the client is dealing w/ him likewise, i.e. short & to the point. The client ended up with probation, community service, fines & fees, but all were set within a bearable limit. Especially considering the charges. We will return to Atty. Cobb for his services when it is time to get the client's record expunged. Why? B/c he is a reliable attorney in that ever important attribute of "follow through." Also good to know (for future clients) we waited over a year for trial / plea bargain. Atty. Cobb & his office staff make sure that you are not left guessing what is expected of you. We had never gone through anything like this in our lives. It was scary, but less scarry than I know it would have b/c we did not feel like we were in the dark. When he gave us hope, it was real hope w/ substance. And then, he made it happen.
