B.A. Summa Cum Laude with Distinction in History, Phi Beta Kappa, University of Pennsylvania. Senior honors thesis (unpublished), "The Concept of 'Generation' in American History."

Experience:

Prior to starting my own law practice, advising large corporations on transactional matters, I was an associate attorney in the securities and franchising group at the Atlanta office of Kilpatrick Stockton and a full-time faculty member at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), teaching finance and business law, including contracts law. I have extensive professional experience in law and finance. I was formerly a member of the Executive Committee and Membership Chairman of the Atlanta Economics Club and served on the Membership Services Committee of the State Bar of Georgia.
