Angela Robinson was not a bad attorney but definitely not the best either. Circumstances differ case to case. My personal experience with her wasn't all the best but neither was it the worse. She did make me wait long periods of time and she also didn't respond quickly when contacted. She didn't use... my childs name to speak of her and kept referring to her as "the older one" even after I corrected her multiple times. She almost caused me my freedom by trying to tell me to go against the judges orders because she didn't completely read my case to understand what was going on. Lucky for me I knew she was incorrectly speaking and I didn't act on her suggestions. Now I only had her as my legal representation for about 3 weeks and my case had gotten nowhere and had no update to becoming resolved due to her deciding to withdraw herself from my case the day before court. I have been trying to resolve this matter instead I kept getting continuance after continuance. At the beginning she gave me hope of actually getting my case resolved but then at the end she showed her true colors when she gave me her unprofessional rudely mannered opinion that I most likely will not be winning my case and to pretty much except an unacceptable offer from the state as that was going to be my best bet. I know I have a decent chance if I fight with a proper attorney representing me and maybe family law just isn't for her. Maybe she does better on other topics of law because I could tell she's determined and could be a great representation in court but in my case it just didn't work out and now I'm back to square one.

I personally am aware of the case involving the "terrible" review posted in 2011. Ms. Robinson had to inform this disgruntled client that she could not continue with his lawsuit because it was based on lies and fraudulent documents. If any of those events actually happened, the client would have co...mplained to The Florida Bar. He did not. Instead he used the AVVO platform to damage her credibility and try to hurt her career. Do not pay any attention to that review. I know Ms. Robinson has tried to get AVVO to remove it and provided AVVO with documentation backing up her claim that it was malicious lies. It is still up.

Had a bad experience with my HOA.. We are in the middle of a lawsuit and (1) year later we are getting ready to go to court. So far very happy with her and very sweet and a hard worker.. Will continue with this after the settlement. Looking for a lawyer.. Need to hire her. Hard worker, smart and will... treat you like a person and not a number. Reasonable rates and she is the best. ANGELA GOT ME RIGHT OUT ON BAIL. SHE WAS AGGRESSIVE GATHERING FACTS ABOUT MY CASE. SO WE COULD GET MOVING QUICKLY,PLANING MY DEFENSE. I WAS PLEASED WITH HOW SHE HANDLED MY CASE. I DON'T THINK ANYONE COULD HAVE DONE BETTER JOB, AND HER RATES WERE VERY REASONABLE. SHE WAS RESPECTFUL OF WHAT I COULD AF...FORD.

She took my money and was eager to represent me in the beginning. Six months later, she withdrew herself from both cases that I paid her to help me with and forced me to pay for another attorney that could finish the job that Ms. Robinson said she would help with. She was clearly not interested in ...helping me and disrespectful at times. She sent me a notice to withdraw the night before a scheduled hearing causing extreme stress on my part. I found her to be unprofessional, over emotional and incompetent. She provided me with her contract two months after cashing my check which then let me know that my payment to her was non-refundable. I asked her to refund all or part of my payment that I made to her however she ignored my request which is a typical response from Ms. Robinson. Nothing was resolved by hiring her and I lost time and money with her representing me. She also seemed to be practicing in areas of law that she has no background or experience in.
