Fahreen S. Velji

FAHREEN S. VELJI is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP, and a member of the firm’s Executives & Professionals Practice Group. She represents employees in public and private companies in the negotiation and drafting of employment, severance, restrictive covenants, expatriate, and international assignment agreements. She also counsels individuals and groups of individuals with respect to employment-related issues such as team moves, restructurings and corporate transactions.

Ms. Velji received her B.A. from The University of Waterloo in 2011, and her J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve School of Law in 2017, where she served as the President of the Student Bar Association. In addition, she was the recipient of Student of the Year, the School of Law Leadership Award, and the Samuel Archie Award for Excellence in Client Relations. During law school, Ms. Velji worked for an Ohio labor & employment law firm representing individuals in a variety of employment related matters, including employment discrimination and exit agreements. In addition, she worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic advising entities on a full range of business law issues, including compliance with employment laws. Before law school, Ms. Velji worked as a business analyst at an asset management firm specializing in real estate.
