No. You're an hourly employee. If you don't work, you don't earn any hours.

If you did not pay for time you stayed in the unit, yes, you were wrong. You cannot withhold rent money, despite repair issues.

You can call the State Bar of GA and file a grievance against your attorney. The actions may not be deemed to constitute malpractice, however.
