Highly recommend

I’m not usually the type of person who takes the time to write reviews, but after the situation that I was in and how amazing Emily was throughout the entire process, I felt it would be a disservice to others if I didn’t write this. I’m a by-the-book kind of person. I had a knee injury and took p...ain meds 2 days before arrested for DUI. Pulled over for failure to signal, even though I would do that sober. Cop asked if I had any drinks that day (seemed to be a routine question) and I said I hadn’t but stupidly mentioned a Vicodin 2 days before. Long story short, I got bullied into giving a blood sample (which I later discovered was illegally obtained, thanks to Emily!). I was charged with a DUI. Public Defender and other lawyers I met with suggested I plea to a lesser offense even though I was completely sober when I was driving. Emily fought for me and got my case dropped. It’s embarrassing to tell someone you got a DUI, but Emily made me feel very comfortable and reassured. Emily is very professional and very kind. But absolute pitbull when dealing with the prosecutor. I would definitely recommend Emily.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
