While in law school, Elisha was admitted to the Tulalip Bar where she represented Native American clients at the Tulalip Tribal Court. She was an extern at the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office where she worked in the Special Assault Unit. In addition, she worked as a research fellow at Haramaya University School of Law in Ethiopia, where she engaged in research on gender-based violence. Elisha also worked as a law clerk at the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in the Domestic Violence Unit.
Elisha was born in Santa Cruz, California and was raised in Truckee, California. She graduated with departmental honors from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Societies, and Justice.. Elisha received her Juris Doctor in 2011 from the University of Washington. Elisha was admitted to the California Bar in 2012 and is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association.
