I would have given him zero stars but that wasn't an option and I had to choose an option for consult or hire or this info would not post. Although I did not consult or hire Mr. Sakalis he was hired by my ex-wife of 15 years in her 3rd foreclosure action. To my surprise, I learned from court docume...nts that he was purporting to represent me, as well.The only reason I had been named in the action by the bank is because I had a money judgement awarded to be because my ex wife owed me money from the original sale of the home. I was not a party on the note or mortgage only in the foreclosure action because of the money owed to me from the original sale of the home to my ex wife. If Mr. Sakalis was a knowledgeable, professional attorney he would have realized that or my ex wife should have explained to him why I was named on the foreclosure action. I could not believe that ANY attorney would pretend to represent me on court documents and in Supreme Court. Mr. Sakalis was representing me without my KNOWLEDGE and CONSENT.

I retained this Attorney in January 2013 to defend me in a Foreclosure Case brought against me by my Bank. I was very nervous when I was first served with the Summons. I met with Mr. Sakalis, went over my financial status, discussed how to proceed and retained him for a reasonable fee. Our case ...took six months and after he submitted us for a Loan Modification, we were approved, received a substantial discount on our mortgage and the case was dismissed. I recommend him. He was always there for me, he always Answered my calls and he did a great job.

This Lawyer is absolutely horrible. I hired him over a 2 years ago for a loan modification. I have had nothing but trouble contacting the law firm to get someone to talk to, I paid $2,000 for his service and he has done NOTHING!! He is slow to contact the Lender, does not follow up on his promises, d...oes not deliver on anything. Don't trust this guy. I am trying to get my money back !
