Edward Medina

Bankruptcy attorney Edward Medina failed me. He is unprofessional, he is unresponsive, and he owes me money. I used to be the proud owner of a small business in downtown San Diego, My business failed in early 2010 as a result of the recession. Consequently, I chose to file bankruptcy. During an in...itial consultation with Mr. Medina, he was courteous and empathetic. On March 16, 2010, I hired him and paid a retainer. A short time later, circumstances prevented me from being able to file. I called Mr. Medina and requested a refund of the unused portion of the retainer. For weeks, I left voice messages at his work and cell phones, but he did not reply. I finally received a voice message from Mr. Medina, but that wasn't until I'd shared my intention to file a complaint with the State Bar. That was the last time I heard from him, despite my continuous efforts to make contact. For nearly a year, Mr. Medina has refused to return the unused portion of my retainer. He has ignored my efforts to resolve the situation. Be forewarned.
