Dishonest, Criminal Conduct- Avoid Attorney Edward Maldonado at all costs
Hired Edward earlier this year and within 2 weeks time, he proceeded to clearly violate at least five separate ethical standards, topped-off by his writing me a bad-NSF retainer refund check, which is a felony in Maricopa county, and I'm thinking possibly bad? behavior for an officer of the court, ye...

Replied last November 26, 2018Unfortunately this review was posted by a disgruntled client who tried several times to discredit me by making false claims/accusations. He filed a bar complaint which was dismissed. He appealed the dismissal, but it was affirmed. He also filed a complaint against the State Bar of Arizona & Bar Counsel who reviewed his complaint. Those were also both dismissed by independent counsel. He then filed a bogus and improper lawsuit in the state of California. He lied in those pleadings, claiming that I resided & worked in CA. That lawsuit was dismissed. He then filed the same frivolous lawsuit in the proper jurisdiction of Maricopa county. That lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice. After failing at every attempt to discredit me and make false accusations against me, he resorted to posting these false claims all over the Internet. As you can clearly see I have had absolutely no formal or informal discipline, or any reprimand by the State Bar of Arizona. These comments and low rating is simply an attempt by a single individual to destroy my professional reputation. The individual has posted under various aliases to make it seem like there are multiple people complaining, but each post is essentially the same. All of the claims made in this review are false.
