Highly Recommend!

Ted was extremely professional and was quick to respond when I reached out to him regarding a legal matter. Ted advocated for me and made sure I completely understood every step of the process. He made an uncomfortable situation bearable. I am satisfied with how things turned out.

Excellent

After two failed attempts to get a PFA on behalf of my children and two failed attempts with Child Protective Services to help me and my children it was now time to start a custody battle and I wanted to get professional help. I found Edward Brown (Ted). My first impression of Ted , this man is an o...dd duck with his late 80’s style fashion and hiking boots, then his phone range to the ringtone of a duck quacking. After talking with Ted for my initial consultation I realized I had found the right person for the job. The Maine family court system from my experience felt like a very complex and biased system. Ted never skipped a beat and was always one or more steps ahead. He knew exactly what to expect and what needed to be done. Ted kept me informed and was very honest. We soon had a new obstacle, a guardian ad litem with an unfavorable report. It was shortly after I realized just how brilliant and dedicated Ted was to doing everything he could to help me. Ted pointed out the inconsistencies and omitted vital details in the GAL report. He wrote his own report, a 35 page chronological record of events which obviously took him more time then he had charged me for. I really felt like this was just as important to Ted as it was for me and there is nothing more important to me then the safety and wellbeing of my children. Another great thing about Ted is that his office is local to the courthouse. I called Ted late one afternoon on an urgent matter just a couple hours before the court would close. Ted ran to the courthouse to meet me. He has a real sense of urgency. We had several status conferences with multiple objections from the opposing party. I don’t recall a single objection that Ted wasn’t able to win over. Ted was not only able to convince our GAL that he was wrong in his report and recommendations, he had influence on the opposing parties representation as well. I think one of the most valuable traits of Ted is that he is brilliant with his wording and experienced with custody hearings. I couldn’t be more satisfied with Ted and I highly recommend him.
