Before meeting Mr. Brown, my previous attorney simply took my money and did hardly any due diligence on my case. I was almost unfairly found guilty until I switched to Mr. Doug. He perceived that an upcoming change in political leadership would positively influence the outcome of my case. Strategical...ly, he postponed my prosecution until the law worked in my favor. When Mr. Doug first took my DUI case, the law was that either you're found guilty or not guilty. But after some time, it changed for 1st time offenders so that as long as I complete a set of requirements, the charge would be dismissed. That was a relief as I didn't want to damage my record.
