Retired from the practice of law in June 2010. Practiced law with Murphy's Law Atlanta, LLC from 2007-2010. Prior to entering private practice, served as Child Advocate Attorney (17 years) and Assistant Public Defender (2 years) for the Dekalb Co Juvenile Court. During that time, founded county CASA and Citizen Panel Review Programs, Georgia’s Celebration of Excellence and Emory School of Law ESCAP Internship Program. Created and helped coordinate multi-disciplinary internship programs for the DeKalb County Child Advocacy Center and Juvenile Court Public Defender’s Office.
