Cannot help

I called for a free consultation and advice regarding a house closing and he asked the name of the title company and he said he cannot help. I asked why and he told me he didn't need a reason why. I asked for a recommendation of someone that could help and he said he couldn't help with that either.

I do not offer a free telephone consultation. The caller inquired as to a particular matter. I advised I was unable to assist. Caller asked the reason and I advised I simply could not assist. Caller inquired as to the reason additional times and I told caller I could not assist and did not have a specific reason. I advised I could not provide a recommendation for the particular area. Brief call handled correctly. It was not to the satisfaction of caller.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
